To protect your child, we adhere to strict safety guidelines. All Pine Knolls Kids volunteers have an application and background check on file. Upon check-in, your child will receive a name tag with a unique identification number, and you will receive a Parent Receipt Label with your child’s identification information. At the conclusion of the service, you must pick-up your child in his/her individual classroom and present the Parent Receipt Label to be scanned. A parent or adult must present the Parent Receipt Label (older siblings may not pick-up).
To ensure the best care for your child, it is your responsibility to inform your child’s leader of any allergies, health concerns, or special needs.
Diaper Changing and Bathroom Policies
You may check-in a diaper bag (and have a label printed for your bag at the Check-In Desk) or request that you be called from the service if needed. Volunteers are never permitted in a bathroom alone with children. They will assist them with clothing (as needed) from outside the door.
For the health of all our children and volunteers, please keep your child with you if they exhibit any of the following:
Fever in the last 24 hours
Vomiting in the last 24 hours.
Diarrhea in the last 24 hours
Cloudy or green runny nose
Pink eye or other eye infections
Any unexplained rash
Any communicable disease
Any symptoms of common childhood diseases, such as chicken pox, strep throat, etc.
